Even pressure is created by the cushioned heating pad and solid wood pressing plate, with an extra-deep section at the base to protect cuffs and hems. Ribbed stretcher bars at the opening gently pull trousers taut before pressing to remove behind-the-knee wrinkles. The press automatically shuts off after 30 minutes, and pants can safely be left inside until needed. This model comes with a simple power pad and a small built-in dish for keys and coins. Corby designs the press to be freestanding or wall-mounted with the included hardware. It comes with an optional jacket hanger and removable feet that measure 13 inches long.
